Please park along the main street. It’s better to park on the side of the sea if there is spot as there is sometimes rocks falling from the mountains. You can also park along the street near the supermarket just before Elysium Apartment. DO NOT PARK on the top of the road leading to Elysium as it’s only for our cleaning team.

You’ll be able to get in thanks to the key box (code is 0001 and is located opposite side of the door).

Be careful not to lock yourself out. We recommend leaving the main door key outside or in the keybox while you are on the property, as strong wind can sometimes close the door and trap you outside.

Beaches of Paleokastritsa

Paleokastritsa is renowned for its breathtaking scenery and stunning coastline, featuring crystal-clear turquoise waters and a series of small, sheltered bays. The area is perfect for swimming, water sports, and boat exploration. Many beaches offer sunbeds, umbrellas, and boat rentals, while taxi boats provide access to more secluded spots and the famous sea caves. With around 15 beaches in the area—many only reachable by boat—it’s well worth exploring the coastline by sea.

For boating enthusiasts, Alipa Port offers facilities for sailboats and speedboats, as well as rental options to discover the beauty of the region.

Agios Spyridon (100% sand)

Agios Spyridon Beach is the most famous, largest, and often the busiest beach in Paleokastritsa—considered by many to be the most beautiful. It is also the only beach in the area made entirely of sand.

At the right end of the beach, you’ll find the main taxi boat station, along with a large parking area just behind. The left side is quieter and more relaxed, with several excellent spots for food and drinks.

Agia Triada (50% sand, 50% pebble)

Agia Triada Beach is the first beach you encounter upon entering Paleokastritsa. Once the largest in the area, part of it has gradually been reclaimed by the sea. Surrounded by lush green hills, it offers a beautiful panoramic view from above.

Platakia (5% sand, 95% pebble)

Platakia Beach is mostly covered with pebbles and is a peaceful retreat, ideal for hot summer days. The surrounding hills provide natural shade early in the day, making it a cool and relaxing spot. It is also a great area for fishing.

Ampelaki (70% sand, 30% pebble)

Ampelaki Beach is the last and one of the quietest beaches in Paleokastritsa. Accessible only on foot, it offers a more secluded experience. A diving center is located on the right side, making it a great choice for diving enthusiasts.

Alipa (70% sand, 30% pebble)

Alipa Beach is situated within the inner part of the port. Despite its location, the water remains clean and clear. It is generally less crowded, offering a calm and quiet atmosphere.

Agios Petros (40% sand, 60% pebble)

Agios Petros Beach is a small beach located behind the main parking area, just below the famous Monastery of Theotokos. With fewer water sports and boat activities, it is ideal for families and couples seeking a more peaceful setting.

La Grotta (100% rocks)

La Grotta is one of the most iconic spots in Paleokastritsa. Nestled between steep cliffs, it offers a unique and dramatic setting. Access involves descending several steps, and the water is among the coldest in the area due to limited sunlight. However, it is a fantastic location for diving and cliff jumping.
